Pastor Robert Doleshal
Let me tell you a little about myself, starting with the most important parts. First, I belong to Jesus! He saved me in Oct. 1976. I did not and do not deserve His salvation and am beyond myself thankful! Second, I am married to Donna! I truly married out of my league. We have three adult children and one grandchild. (There are also two dogs.) I love family time, reading, sports, people and anything pertaining to Bible Study. My favorite sports are Pro Football, soccer and basketball. Growing up, I played organized sports, mostly soccer and basketball. You will find me to be serious, silly, goofy, verbose, a good listener and genuinely caring. You might as well know that in addition to being a ferocious reader, I am an avid Dallas Cowboys, Mexican food and chocolate fan.
I am just a regular guy, but my life’s calling and dedication are to the Lord and His use of me, however, He desires. He most uses me through relationships and teaching the Bible. I love to see people trust Jesus and come to a love of His Word.
Over the years, I have been a Senior Pastor, Teaching Pastor and Singles Pastor, as well as an adjunct instructor, teaching Religion, Western Religions, Logic and Philosophy, as well as Bible and Theology. Prior to ministry, I worked in the medical field in the areas of Managed Care, Contract Management, Business Development and Transplantation. Besides the medical field, I worked as Coordinator of Global ministries for a mission agency dedicated to the Spanish-speaking world.
While I am grateful for and proud of my education, it does not define me and I, certainly, do not know everything. However, it does reflect my genuine desire to be as intimate with Him as possible. I am, and will always be, a student of the Bible as part of my following Christ. I hold an undergraduate degree in Business Management, three master’s degrees (Religion, Religious Education and Divinity) and a doctorate from Dallas Theological Seminary.
