“Divided: Kingdom & Heart”

The book of 1 Kings picks up after 2 Samuel, when the kingdom is transitioning from King David to King Solomon. Despite the good he did, Solomon eventually slid into a heart divided between God and the idols of his many wives. His divided heart led to a divided kingdom. This series, Divided: Kingdom & Heart, follows the events of 1 Kings 13-19, when the kingdom is already divided. It looks at three specific scenarios when peoples’ hearts were divided for various reasons. We will see how people responded to God when their “hearts” were challenged.
